Established in 1976, the business is a full service portrait studio. TJ Gaffney photography also offers on premise copy and restoration of photos.

Tim is committed to providing you with a relaxed and enjoyable photography experience, exceptional portraits and excellence of service. Sessions are available in studio or on location. You can be assured that Tim will strive to produce a treasured children’s portrait, high school senior portrait, or a family portrait. Dear Friends,

After 34 years of operating a dual business; a retail photography store and portrait studio, I made a decision to close the retail business as of January 2011. I will focus on the portrait end of the business, exclusively! It was a difficult decision to make, but with the rise of digital photography, the internet, and stiff competition from the “Mart” stores, it has been a challenge to run the retail store.

I am excited with the new direction of the business and the opportunities that it will bring. The business will no longer be called “The Shutterbug”, but “TJ Gaffney Photography”. It is a take off of my Grandfather PJ Gaffney, who was a pioneer businessman in Eagle River!
